Couples & Individual Therapy for Dallas, Online
I offer couples therapy for Dallas residents by secure video, from my Southlake-based practice. Skip the traffic, close the door at home, and give your relationship an hour of real attention.
Online couples therapy for Dallas couples
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Southlake. I've practiced in North Texas since 2010, and my practice has been fully online since 2020. I don't have an office in Dallas. I serve Dallas residents by secure video, and you join from home or any private space in Texas.
When your relationship hurts, you hurt. Maybe every attempt to talk turns into an argument, or you're missing the closeness and passion you once had. Couples therapy can give you the chance to rebuild, reconnect, and revive your relationship. You bring the willingness to look honestly at what's happening between you, and I'll bring structure, curiosity, and steady support.
Why online therapy makes sense in Dallas
Anyone who drives in Dallas knows how much of life disappears into I-35E, LBJ, or the Tollway. Add long workdays, frequent travel, and everything else on your calendar, and a weekly trip to a therapist's office can become the reason therapy never starts. Online sessions give you that time back.
Dallas is also a big, diverse city with couples from many cultures, faiths, and backgrounds, as well as students and faculty at places like SMU and UT Dallas. I work with intercultural and interfaith couples, South Asian and Muslim clients, and people with no religious affiliation at all. You can read more about my approach to multicultural issues and spirituality.
When substance use is part of the story
Early in my career, I provided social-skills groups and individual therapy at an inpatient substance-abuse treatment facility in Dallas. That work gave me a lasting respect for how much a relationship carries when one partner is struggling with alcohol or drugs, and how much it carries during recovery, too.
Partners often describe a confusing mix of relief, resentment, hypervigilance, and grief. The person in recovery may feel watched, ashamed, or impatient to be trusted again. Both of you can be doing your best and still end up stuck.
Couples therapy can be a place to rebuild trust slowly, communicate without the old scripts, and rediscover who you are together. It works best alongside the right recovery support, not in place of it. If active substance use calls for a higher level of care, I'll tell you honestly and help you think through next steps.
Couples intensives for packed Dallas calendars
Some Dallas couples find that weekly sessions just don't fit. Between travel, long hours, and family obligations, a standing weekly hour keeps getting bumped. For those couples, an online couples intensive can be a good alternative.
Intensives are longer, focused blocks of therapy, a minimum of three hours over one or more days, held online just like regular sessions. They can help when you want to address one major issue in depth, like the aftermath of an affair or a big decision about your future, or when you want to jump-start the work before settling into a regular rhythm. You can read more on my couples therapy intensives page, or contact me for rates.
What we can work on
In therapy, we explore the assumptions and emotional blocks that get in the way of intimacy and healthy communication. I get to know each of you and also focus on the space between you, where "you and me" becomes "we." Dallas couples come to me for communication problems, intimacy and desire, trust after infidelity, and preparing for commitment.
I integrate the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, mindfulness, and skill-building. Read more on my couples and marriage therapy page.
How it works
New couples begin with a free phone consultation, which I require before the first appointment. Both partners attend from the first session. We meet on SimplePractice's secure platform, and both of you need to be located in Texas at the time of the session.
Couples sessions are $230 and individual sessions are $200. I'm out of network with all insurance and provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement. See rates and insurance.

Individual therapy for Dallas adults
Not here as a couple? This is for you, too.
I work primarily with couples and with individual adults. If you live in Dallas and want space of your own to work through anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, identity, a life transition or the patterns that keep showing up in your relationships, individual therapy gives you that, by secure video from home.
For deeper, focused work, I also offer individual therapy intensives. Individual sessions are $200 for 45 to 55 minutes, and every new client starts with a free phone consultation.

Questions
Therapy in Dallas: FAQs
Do you have an office in Dallas?
No. My practice is online only and based in Southlake. Dallas couples meet with me by secure video or phone from home or another private space in Texas. I worked in Dallas earlier in my career, but I don't see clients in person anywhere today.
Can couples therapy help if substance use is affecting our relationship?
It can be part of the picture. Couples therapy can help you rebuild trust and communication during recovery, and it works best alongside appropriate recovery support. If active use needs a higher level of care, I'll say so honestly and help you consider options. In a crisis, call or text 988, or call 911.
Do you work with intercultural and interfaith couples in Dallas?
Yes. I work with couples from different cultures, faiths, and family traditions, including South Asian and Muslim clients and couples where one or both partners are secular. I approach these differences with curiosity and respect, not an agenda. Sessions are in English.
Can we use our insurance?
I'm out of network with all insurance companies. You pay in full at the time of your session and I give you a receipt (superbill) to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. The receipt includes a diagnosis code. It's worth calling your insurer beforehand to ask about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
What platform do you use for online sessions?
I use SimplePractice, a confidential telehealth platform, with Doxy.me as a backup. I don't use Skype or FaceTime, to keep your sessions as secure as possible. You'll need a reliable internet connection and a computer or phone with a camera. Phone sessions are available too.
